font - comical and cartoony, light hearted + serif font with the more serious information
images - statement image, mid shot of half the body,
"fried" anchored in a way that it doesnt obscure the focus of the image, and also so that it is readable over the black outfit
simple lexis, gets straight to the point ("get ready with me")


z pattern passes over all of the text on the page - 
text anchored at an angle to help with the z pattern, guides the eye down the page
bold sans serif font stands out against the multiple bold colours on the background
lexis is shocking and interesting - reflecting the gossip nature of the magazine
shocking, maybe hegemonically unattractive people images alongside hegemonically attractive women creates a contrast - gossip
